Avena Osborn is a Northern Rivers interdisciplinary artist who graduated in 2016 with her Bachelor of Fine Art at the Queensland Collage of Art with a double major in painting and jewellery. Her work shifts between various mediums, allowing them to integrate with one another and create opportunities for new processes and concepts. Nature is a consistent source of inspiration for her practice - whether it is an environmental protest to protect and preserve, a personal expression, or simply to capture the extraordinary organic forms of the natural world. In recent years her artwork explores the intricate patterns repeated in nature, the microcosm and macrocosm within our universe, earth’s biological evolutions and it’s integrated consciousness. Lighting is a key factor in her recent work; by utilizing ultraviolet lights and the illuminating effects of fluorescent and glowing acrylics she creates vibrant multilayered artworks which come to life in the dark and mesmerize audiences.

bbennnybb is a home for creative ideas, stretching across mediums of ink painting, tattoo, projection design and cloth production. The works have a take on abstract, traditional and visionary influence. They like to reflect mystical worlds and accommodate psychedelic thoughts and experiences.

Ben is a Melbourne based multidisciplinary artist. Inspired by dreams, nature and ancient/folk art; his art is an exploration of the inner and outer worlds.

The magic of Blaze Ceramics is infused into the surface and the form through symbolism, motifs, touching on memories, dreams and lived experiences. My name is Brooke, an artist among many things who lives in northern NSW. As a child, I was drawn towards artistic play, as we all are in some way. As children, we are most pure and primal ~ immersed in the vibrant world we have chosen to be born in to and each in our own way interpreting it and creating a unique expression of our experience. Finding common threads through them all ~ that we are creators. Created by an intertwining of magic, journeying through the unknown, walking each other home. I find inspiration from the elements around me, and within, and the space in between... the ether (5th element of space and all that is unseen) where all my creations arise and are then birthed into the earthen plane ~ to share with others the expression of my heart to yours. Which is one of the things I find so beautiful about art… that it reaches a deep place within us, bypassing the mind and communicating straight to the heart.

Jamsimosa, aka Simon James is a visual artist from South West Australia inspired by the inner and outer mystery of nature. J. Bratby is an award-winning Australian figurative, portraiture and conceptual artist. They work with mixed media, primarily oil, acrylic and aerosol across a range of canvases, murals, interactive sculptures and recycled items. Their work studies impermanence, consciousness and existentialism and capture the wonder and awe of this unique planet. Their work references the exhaustive search for value and tradition in a digital world using mixed media. They engage the audience playfully and seek to elevate the extraordinary people and creatures that walk among us. They have exhibited both internationally and locally in traditional urban gallery settings as well as in rural festival settings.

Julia is a geometric artist exploring niche styles of post-modern art such as retro-futurism, abstraction, neo-futurism, and brutalist style architecture. She fuses these styles to create her own unique style of acrylic based artworks using bright and vivid colour palettes to compose mathematical universes out of paintings.

Krystina Gray is a Visionary artist exploring themes and feelings of balance, love, polarity and elevation within her vividly coloured divine feminine creations. Using a variety of mediums in her work, Krystina blends contrasting colours and plays with layers and psychedelic visuals to overlap into her otherworldly portals.

Drawing artistic inspiration from the stylised curves and displays of the Art Nouveau era Kiredor draws attention to a recurring theme of human consciousness merging with nature, represented through a colourful world of imagination.

Xander 'Knoswet' Zee is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist and designer based in Sydney. Xander comes from a graffiti and street art background. His artistic adventures continued into the world of art and design at UNSW, and furthermore through diverse creative endeavours within the Australian and global arts community - working closely with many councils, community groups, commercial and independant organisations. Since his first appearance on the Australian Psychedelic art scene, exhibiting and painting live at Subsonic Music Festival (2012 - 2017), Xander has become more deeply involved in the Doof community, working and exhibiting at other Festivals like Earth Frequency, Regrowth, Psyfari, Defqon and more. Xander has exhibited works and collaborated with clients and artists in 8 different countries. Xander is also deeply involved with community public art projects that tackle issues of inclusion, politics, ethics and explores the power of collaborative creativity to ignite connection within our communities. Xander is a co-founder and Artistic director for ‘Muralisto’ - a social enterprise aimed at strengthening communities through inclusive public art projects. ‘’The motivations behind my art are constantly changing with my understanding of life and creation. I have always been mesmerized by the world and its many mysteries and while painting stays as the staple in my creative diet, this insatiable fascination has lead me on a continual adventure - exploring the avenues of design, photography, sculpture, and mixed media practices. Through formal and self directed study, as well as personal and social experimentation I have explored many mediums, techniques, artistic philosophies and practices. My works are inspired by the psychedelic experience, emotions, adventure, love, dreaming, the mind, the heart, the unknown, beauty, tragedy, nature, the absurd, the abstract, the mundane and the insane.’’

The work of Jake Kobrin is psychedelic, unusual, dark, beautiful, and elegant. His work seeks to illuminate experiences which Jake has had that are outside of the realm of normal waking consciousness, moving into numinous and visionary realms with natural ease. His work explores the interplay of shadow and light, both in the delicate modelling of the forms of his pictures but also in the character of the subjects he portrays, his work showing a willingness to embrace all aspects of emotion from revelation and peace, to fear and disharmony. He considers himself an "interdimensional midwife and conduit" believing that the role of the artist is to be able to move outside of themselves and to act as a conduit for higher consciousness to move through them. In this way he says, "I do not claim authorship for any of the works of art I have painted. I am a channel for Great Spirit to create through me." He currently divides his time between Ubud, Bali and Nevada City, California and he grew up in San Francisco. He is one of the few psychedelic artists with a formal classical art education, having studied classical realist drawing and painting in Florence, Italy at the Angel Academy of Art. He is also a tattoo artist, and is inspired by the traditional ceremonial contexts that ancient cultures held around tattooing. He is honoured to bring people through the ancient rite of passage of being tattooed in a way that is intentional and reverent. Besides painting and tattooing, Jake is also the founder and designer of a jewelry and fashion brand called Medicine Dragon Designs, and is a DJ and musician, as well as a published writer, speaker, and podcaster.

Saffron Stegh is a Newcastle based ceramicist creating earth inspired ceramic ware. From clay flows organic vessels of fungi and coral, from mugs to multipurpose objects in natural quirky forms to clay jewellery pendants and earrings. Each work is uniquely one of a kind, handcrafted with love and care, and intent.

Tennessee Charpentier is the creative driving force behind Visionary Art by Messiah. Born and raised in Amiens France, Tennessee was encouraged from a young age to explore her natural creative talent. This led Tennessee to gaining entry into prestigious Parisian School ESAG Penninghen where she excelled, attaining her Masters Degree in Graphic Design. At the completion of her training Tennessee was offered an opportunity to enter the Parisian Fashion scene as an Art Director. After exploring the potential of a professional career on the path well traveled, Tennessee decided to take a leap of faith to explore the diversity of Australia, NZ and USA – discovering arts and culture festivals such as Burning Man and the lifestyle these events teach. She now calls Melbourne her home and through the local music and arts scene has become inspired to combine formal graphic design with visionary art, surrealism and symbolism to form her unique style. Visions and ideas arise from her subconscious, communicating lessons to be applied to life – themes of inner strength and courage are expressed on canvas to motivate everyone to embrace their life path and strive to self actualise. Over the past 3 years she has had the opportunity to learn along side prominent members of the Visionary Art Movement such as Alex and Allyson Grey, Luis Tamani, Vanessa Lemen and C.T. Nelson to name a few. Her work has been exhibited at Shambhala (CA), The Ohio Fairy Gardening Festival (USA) and Rainbow Serpent (AU).

Morrighan has been creating art for as long as she can remember. Her style develops and changes in harmony with life experience, drawing being her primary form of expression. Morrighan feels that artistic exploration and expression is her way of analysing imagery from dreamscapes and processing experiences from the natural and psychedelic world. Morrighan’s work has a general focus on humanoid beings that are reflective of self, symbolic creatures and surrealist flora, these elements are brought to life with the use of felt tip pens, watercolours, acrylic paints, pencils and the use of fine detail and repetition.

Mtxchcraft is painter based in Mullumbimby. His work blends raw observation with the textures found in nature in symbiosis with the movement of psychedelics. Allowing the subconscious to guide his themes and composing scenes that reflect a personal truth. He sets an intention to enter a portal from a perceptual reality into the unknown. Mitch uses his art process as a way of liberation through deepening, a reminder of unity, spirit and the sublime beauty of nature and the cosmos.

Necro nature is a contemporary form of taxidermy blended with oddities & curiosities. Taking traditional skills fused with mixed media art expressions. Jades work can be described as road side preservation & inspired by Memento Mori - an artistic or symbolic trope acting as a reminder of the inevitability of death. Honouring our tribal lands & gifts from mother nature.

NONSKY (Nelson Lance Donsky) is a Brisbane based artist and illustrator creating paintings with an emphasis on hybridized styles pulling from a broad range of elements including impressionism, abstraction, surrealism, and visionary arts practice (The artist refers to this stylistic amalgamation as simply; “The Electro-Swamp”). Combining a dream-like surreal logic with images featuring nods to sci-fi and fantasy subject matter along with some transcendental Zen philosophy. Works are often vibrant, detailed and unique, from elaborate painstakingly complex works to the simple and cartoonish.

Rumoured to have actually spent time in the realms of faeries, Rosie is at the least, well travelled, talented and eager to bring out feelings often suppressed by viewers. Swamp Mahogany is a visual artist who explores the dance between the inner world and outer ecosystems. She lives in Wollongong, between the escarpment and the sea and spends her time painting and bird watching. Her works are rooted in the Earth and expand to capture the spirits in the spaces between. She uses her lived experiences, ecology studies, meditations and time exploring the bush to capture all that is existing within this timeline and across others. Each of her paintings dive into the cyclical relationship she experiences with the Earth to tell stories of life, death, love and magic.

Tamar is a visual artist based in Mexico. She paints canvas paintings and vibrant murals. Her art is energetic, geometric and organic. Inspired by the beauty and patterns of nature and humanity, Tamar's work reflects themes of self-discovery, growth, connection, movement, and transformation. Will is a life long artist originally from Newtown, Sydney. Mixing elements from traditional cartooning, graffiti and the lowbrow art from custom car culture. He creates characters depicting extreme emotions and the darker sides of nostalgia using strong contrasting colours and bold line work.

Zoë Rayne is an oil painter living and painting in Wurundjeri country, in the Dandenong Ranges of Victoria. With a deep connection to the more-than-human world, Zoë has always felt called to depict humanity’s inherent inseparability from nature. A painter of the liminal, Zoë strives to portray a sense of mystery and the otherworldly in her work. Her paintings are a reclamation of old ways found in myth, story and folklore, intertwined with her own explorations of queerness, ritual, kink and eco-sexuality.

Zuki is a visionary illustrator crafting portals into enchanted realms, where ancient tribes and faery creatures intertwine and come to life on the page. Drawing inspiration from age-old myths and folklore, Zuki's art seamlessly weaves together the magic of forgotten cultures with the mystical guidance of the fae. Aimee Vandersteen is a multi-disciplinary artist drawing from earthy colour palettes and landscapes of texture to create works that encourage calm, grounded spaces.

Inspired by ancient textile practices, Aimee’s works aim to find the balance point between chaos and order in pattern making. Creating works that offer a recognisable rhythm in shape whilst comfortably disrupting it with unexpected gestures and casual mark making.

Mady Thieme - Illustration Born in Germany, Mady grew up in the countryside spending much of her time wandering through meadows, enjoying growing up on a little farm, walking along the river pondering the world and sitting with the sheep reading comic books. With much space and time - and not much else to do - she started drawing and over time - expressing herself in various art forms. She always had a love for nature, colours, beautiful arrangements and the feminine form - and later letting her characters tell their own story. When starting a piece, inspiration and emotions, sometimes the sound of music, guide her artistic flow of her artwork. Mady's art very much relates to her personal experiences, moods and inspirations, which to her makes every piece an individual represent of a part of her life - to the observant hopefully a pleasant glimpse of something up to their own imagination. While she works with different mediums, her illustrations usually start with a sketch of pen on paper which is then lined with pigment ink or markers, acrylic paint or most favoured watercolour, sometimes also collage. Some pieces become works of line and dot art, drawing together little odd stories in psychedelic dreamscapes to be explored.

I was born and raised in Melbourne. I’m an escapist at heart. With detail being the main recurring aspect in my works. Most of my artwork's method is diving into a coloured dreamscape and consciously holds many symbolic and subconscious ideas. Most are very detailed and explore mediums of Fineliner, Watercolour, Gouache, Pencil and Acrylic. Although the symbolism comes from my own experiences, I try to leave it ambiguous so others may look upon it and be able to connect with it in their own experiences.

My name is Toufan. My creations are an act of love for pushing my own creative boundaries. Diving deep into the use of texture around abstract forms I want to add the element of being able to feel and physically touch my works to help better understand the texture. My works are an expression of my soul.

Tartshi is a Melbourne based artist who combines her imagination with her experiences of sacred visions and messages from the universe to create impactful acrylic pieces. As a light worker, every canvas channels messages of reflection and healing; aiming to bring light to the abundance of love and creativity in ourselves, others, and our natural and spiritual world
