Drug Use Policy

Dragon Dreaming Festival does not condone or encourage the use of illicit substances at our event.

The organisers take a harm minimisation approach to drug use, and ensure that confidential, non-judgmental support is available to those who need it.

Any individuals found to be supplying illicit substances to others within the event by event security or the NSW Police will have their wristbands removed and be escorted off the festival site.

Youth Policy

Dragon Dreaming prides itself on being an evolved family friendly event that members of our community feel safe and supported in bringing their young children to. You play a large role in ensuring that it remains this way. As an all ages event we encourage young adults in our community to come and experience the festival.

Young people under 16 years of age can only attend the Festival with a responsible parent/guardian present. This means exactly what it says, an 18 year old mate does not count as a responsible parent or guardian. NEEDS TO BE A PARENT OR GUARGIAN OF SIMILAR AGE AND RESPONSIBILTY.

Entry to Dragon Dreaming: (At the gate)

If gate staff believe a person is under 16 then the ID of both the young person and the accompanying parent/guardian will be checked at our Gates, whether they are entering with pre-paid tickets or purchasing tickets.

All parent/guardian ticket and youth ticket holders within a group must arrive at the festival entry gate together.

Security is authorised to remove anyone, youth or adult who is behaving in an anti-social, disruptive or illegal manner. Please note any illegal conduct will be referred directly to the police.

To ensure the safety of any young person asked to leave the event, the parent or guardian will also be asked to leave along with any other young people who entered with that guardian. If the parent or guardian cannot be found OR the young person will not tell security who they are, police will be called. At that time the young person will be given over to police custody and information including a photo of the young person will be kept at the festival info tent.

Any breach of the above Terms of Entry will result in refusal of entry/removal of offender from the event with no exceptions. In this event absolutely no ticket refunds will be given.
